Reports
USSOCOM, SOF Renaissance
Released Feb 2025, this 24‑page document updated USSOCOM's strategy and was presented to Congress and the Pentagon. GEN Fenton praised the cover, the Command Historian supplied historic photos for a wrap‑around montage, and the final report received strong approval from the General's team and all stakeholders.
USSOCOM, Budget Highlights
The Budget Highlights report has not been released yet. However, the report design and layout is being well received internally. “…the draft book looks amazing. I think it's next level for sure.”
SIGAR, April 2021 report to Congress
Released April 2021, SIGAR's Congressional quarterly report (216 pages, 30 tables, and 31 figures) delivered independent, data‑driven oversight of U.S. reconstruction in Afghanistan. Over my tenure I authored 12 of these reports (solo or with a co‑designer), each paired with a classified annex.
SIGAR, Strategic Plan 2020–2022
The SIGAR 2020–2022 Strategic Plan is a long‑term roadmap guiding SIGAR's oversight of Afghanistan. It directs audits, investigations, and reporting toward key risks and aligns internal operations with its core mission, outlining four strategic goals.
SIGAR, Lessons Learned report to Congress
This “Lessons Learned” report (323 pages) analyzes monitoring and evaluation of U.S. reconstruction contracts in Afghanistan, highlighting SIGAR's concern that agencies focused on “doing things right” (tracking activities) instead of “doing the right thing” (achieving meaningful outcomes). Includes numerous charts and figures.
PISA 2015, Puerto Rico Performance
The PISA 2015 report to Congress shows how 15-year-old students in Puerto Rico performed in science, reading, and mathematics compared to other participating education systems (U.S. average and OECD countries). One of many reports I produced for PISA, TIMSS, PIRLS, and NAEP for the U.S. Department of Education. Purple was the dominant design color because it isn’t associated with any political party in Puerto Rico.
Adoption Factbook V
“Adoption Factbook V,” a 553‑page NCFA publication, is the most comprehensive U.S. adoption data compendium (as of its publication). It compiles historic and current adoption stats across all types, tracks policy trends, profiles families, and spotlights systemic issues to guide evidence‑based policy, advocacy, and public awareness. The report includes 56 figures (pie charts, bar graphs, state maps, etc.) and 69 tables (several multi‑page). I co‑designed the project with another designer.
2017 NAEP, report to Congress
This 2017 NCES pilot (U.S. Dept. of Education pilot feasibility study) tested electronic collection of 8th‑grade transcript data from 34 public schools and its linkage to NAEP scores. One of several reports I produced for PISA, TIMSS, PIRLS, and NAEP.
