The Military Family, U.S. Special Operations Command
This brochure conveys that military families are essential to warfighter readiness and lethality, and to empower senior spouses as credible ambassadors and advocates for USSOCOM's mission.
Ghana Breast Health Study, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
This design won the 2014 Award of Excellence from the National Association of Government Communicators (NAGC). A free, voluntary study of Ghanaian women 18 or older in Accra or Kumasi collected health questionnaires, physical measurements, and blood, saliva, and stool samples to uncover causes and improve detection, treatment, and prevention of breast disease.
National Survey of Crime and Safety (NSCS), U.S. Department of Justice
The NSCS collects nationwide, scientifically sampled data on residents' recent crime experiences, safety perceptions, and interactions with police to update and expand older data, giving the DOJ reliable insight for tracking trends and shaping safety policies. The interviewer kit contained multiple manuals, a brochure, an FAQ, and an interviewer ID card.
EMBLEM, National Cancer Institute
The EMBLEM study (NIH/NCI) was a multi‑country case‑control investigation of childhood Burkitt lymphoma in malaria‑endemic areas of Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya. Printed in Africa, this 4‑panel brochure required redesign for local paper sizes. We coordinated with a regional printer to ensure proper printing and folding. https://emblem.cancer.gov
PISA 2015, U.S. Department of Education
PISA tests 15‑year‑olds in math, science and reading every three years to compare learning outcomes worldwide. It emphasizes applying knowledge to real‑life situations, rotating a deep focus among the three subjects; in 2015 the major focus was science, with optional financial‑literacy and problem‑solving modules that the U.S. also took. This kit included a pocket folder containing a brochure, an FAQ, a summary of activities, stickers, and a certificate once the study was complete.
TIMSS 2015, U.S. Department of Education
In 2015, the IEA and its TIMSS & PIRLS International Study Center (Boston College) administered TIMSS for 4th‑ and 8th‑graders and TIMSS Advanced for final‑year secondary students in advanced math and physics. Both assessments extend a 20‑year trend series that began in 1995. This kit included a pocket folder containing a brochure, an FAQ, a summary of activities, stickers, and a certificate once the study was complete.
MIST, U.S. National Science Foundation
The 2014 MIST Survey (NSF) was a pilot effort to capture R&D spending, workforce, and innovation activities of U.S. firms with fewer than five employees—a segment missed by larger surveys. MIST filled a data gap before being folded into the broader Annual Business Survey (ABS) in 2017. This kit contained a brochure, a survey, a 9x12 envelope, and a business return envelope.
